Highlights
Meemure Village camp offers guests an opportunity to experience what it is like to live in the ancient isolated village of Meemure. The village is situated deep in the Knuckles Wilderness, where the local people have maintained their traditional and cultural attitudes towards the forest’s existence. during your two days stay at Meemure, you can experience the real traditional life style along with some adventure.
Itinerary
Start the tour with hotel pickup

18 hoursAdmission Ticket Included05:30: You will be picked up from your Hotel in Kandy and transferred to Hunnasgiriya where you will meet your nature guide and start a memorable ride to Meemure village. Passing well-grown pine estates and graceful waterfalls, you will reach Corbett gap. 08:40: After collecting memorable photographs of the nature, you will arrive at the Campsite for breakfast 10:00: You will start your nature expedition to Meemure village with your guide. During this tour you will experience some water activities with fun and explore the authenticity of the Meemrure Village and the traditions of the village people. 13:30: You will experience a traditional Sri Lankan lunch at a village house. 15:00: After sharing the experience of the village people, you will start your journey back to the campsite. 16:00: Arrive at the campsite for Evening tea. 19:00: Sit closer to the bonfire and enjoy the BBQ dinner.
