In the morning, you will be met by a professional English speaking guide at your hotel in Jaipur and driven to the village of Abhaneri.  The present name of the village, 'Abhaneri', is believed to be a mispronunciation of 'Abha Nagri' or the “City of Brightness”. Visit the remains of the ancient Harshat Mata temple, such as the front chamber, the terrace, and the sanctuary walls.  The temple dates back to the 10th century and even though it lies in ruins today, its beautiful craftsmanship is still visible.
