If you want to experience true Mongolian wilderness, challenge yourself a bit for this horse trekking adventure to Khagiin Khar lake or the Secret pearl of Taiga. Located 180km from Ulaanbaatar, it is a glacial lake hidden deep in the forest of Khan Khentii protected area. As the lake is inaccessible by vehicle, either foot or horse trekking is ideal for those who wants to explore pristine natural beauty through variety of terrain on horseback.

Meet up and drive out of the city

    Pickup from hotel and drive to starting point in countryside. Prepare and load the horses and horseriding through Tuul river valley and camping overnight at foothill of Khulur.
