BACKGROUD
Lenggong Valley is regarded as one of Malaysia's most significant archaeological sites. The earliest known human activity can be traced back to this location. It was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site on June 30, 2012.



TOUR EXPERIECE
Visitors will be carted to Lenggong in our private vehicle, but the tour may either be a private experience or part of a bigger group, led by our heritage expert whom you'll meet on-site.


You will visit 12 different cave sites within one of the main archaeological clusters. These sites feature both natural caves formations and excavation sites, showcasing evidence of cave drawings, skeletons, and valuable artifacts such as weapons, stone tools, and pottery (which have all been moved to the museum).


After a lunch break in town, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the Lenggong Museum at their own pace (self-guided), where the main attraction, the Perak Man, is located.

    The museum has reopened its doors following a comprehensive renovation, and it is now fully accessible to all visitors. As you explore, you'll discover detailed exhibits on various archaeological dig sites, showcasing a wide range of artifacts that illuminate the history and culture of the regions from which they were unearthed. This visit is designed to be self-guided, allowing you to explore at your own pace and delve into the fascinating stories behind each artifact. *The scheduled visit time is one (1) hour; however, if you need more time, please inform your driver.
