Itinerary
Mount Kilimanjaro
1. Pick-up and Drive to Marangu Gate (1,860 m) Pick-up from your hotel and transfer to Marangu Gate. Complete registration before the hike begins. 2. Enter the Rainforest Zone (1,860–2,700 m) Walk through lush rainforest with tall trees, fresh air, and native wildlife. Your guide shares nature and cultural insights. 3. Hike to Mandara Hut (2,700 m) Steady hike to Mandara Hut. Spot blue monkeys and various bird species along the well-maintained trail. 4. Optional Visit to Maundi Crater (2,900 m) Weather permitting, continue to Maundi Crater for wide landscape views and, on clear days, distant Kilimanjaro peaks. 5. Lunch at Mandara Hut (2,700 m) Enjoy lunch at Mandara Hut amidst calm mountain scenery, with views and interaction with other trekkers. 6. Descend Back to Marangu Gate (1,860 m) Return along the same scenic forest path to the gate, where transport is ready for your drive back.
