Highlights
The Duong Lam ancient village on the outskirts of Hanoi is also known as a museum of laterite, home to around 300 houses built three or four centuries ago with lateritic bricks. The village has also been described as the last stronghold of wet rice farming culture in northern Vietnam. A journey to Duong Lam village is a trip to trace back the origin of Vietnam’s culture and traditions. This is also the great chance to explore architecture of ancient structures while you wander along its narrow alleyways, visit temples dedicated to the two kings born there, and most interesting of all, chat with the inhabitants, the owners of a national treasure.

After conquering 239 literite steps, we will reach a beautifull and ancient pagoda on top of the hill. 5 hoursAdmission Ticket IncludedKeep going to Duong Lam, a typical Northern Vietnam village with many ancient features preserved, offer a traquil an nostalgic weekend getaway. On arrival, we will walk along the old path to Mong Phu Communial house – the solemn centre of the whole village and Mia Pagoda, which is well – known pagoda build in 15th century, which is holds the biggest number of Buddha statues: 287 ones of all sizes. Have special lunch at 400 years old house and chance to talk with the host about the village’s history. After lunch, a short cyclingt tour around Duong Lam ancient village to visit King Ngo Quyen and King Phung Hung’ s Temple, where dedicated two national heros. Drive back to Hanoi and finish the interesting day tour at about PM5.30.
