En route to Saint-Tropez, drive to St Maxime and take a 20-minute boat trip (9€) to explore the town on your own (available from May to mid-September). During your free time, discover the famous harbor, beautiful beaches, and the lively Place des Lys, where artists, celebrities, and journalists meet. Stroll through the picturesque streets and enjoy the many local restaurants.
Saint-Tropez has a fascinating history, evolving from a 15th-century military stronghold to a quiet fishing village in the early 20th century, before becoming a hotspot for the jet set. On the way back, stop at Port Grimaud, the “Little Venice” of the Riviera, with its canals, tiny bridges, and charming squares.
