Khuvsgul Lake is one of seventeen ancient lakes in the world and Central Asia's freshest and deepest lake. The lake is surrounded by beautiful high mountains covered by thick pine trees, dead volcanoes, and rich species of birds. That outstanding wild nature will give you endless opportunities for photography that are not possible anywhere else in the world.
Throughout the tour, you’ll also explore Kharkhorin, the 13th-century capital, and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Erdenezuu Monastery. With countless adventures awaiting you, this journey promises to be unforgettable.

The park lies in the foothills of the southern Khentii mountain range and it is the place where you can see wild horse called Takhi known as Przewalski horse to the world. And then continue to drive Elsen Tasarkhai, the area is surrounded by sand dunes, hills covered with rare bushes and a small forest near a river. Together this presents a unique combination of Mongolian mountains, forests and Gobi-type landscape in one location. Over here we will ride a camel for one hour and overnight tourist ger camp. For dinner we are going to have Mongolian traditional BBQ and learn form Nomads how they cook. Today, we will visit to the extinct Khorgo volcano by trekking to its big crater which once spewed hot lava (7,000 years ago). Khorgo Mountain used to be a dormant volcano located on the east shore of Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake. The volcano crater of the Togoo Uul is covered with Siberian Larch. Next, we will proceed to tour Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake, which was formed when Khorgo volcano lava dammed the Suman River, cutting a large gorge through the basalt.
