After around 1 hour driving, you will come to the underground palace the first emperor, Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, listed by UNESCO in 1987 as one of the world cultural heritages. Listen to your guide’s live commentary of Qin Dynasty history, the first emperor’s great achievements, visit the Terracotta Army Museum from Pit 1 to Pit 3, see the 2,200-year-old sculptures depicting thousands of unique figures, and be shocked by the vivid life size terracotta figures of warriors and horses. After that, enjoy safe transfer back to Xi’an downtown and drop off at your hotel to conclude the trip.

My guide and driver were Tom and Jerry. They arrived at my hotel on time. Tom, my guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable about local history. His enthusiasm for the history of the Terracotta Warriors and his country were clear. He offered me extra opportunities to get involved in Chinese culture during the tour such as seeing calligraphy and a tea ceremony and about learning about jade.
