Lothal is one of the most prominent cities of the Indus Valley civilization. It was a thriving trade center in ancient times with its trade of beads, gems and jewellery reaching the far corners of West Asia and Africa. The world’s earliest known dock is located in Lothal. Spend some time exploring the ruins of this ancient city before you continue your onward journey to Uthellya.Ahmedabad
2 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeUthellya (2 hours) The ancient site of Uthellya has some splendid remains of this Harappan city. Walk around the ruins and imagine the splendor of a bygone era. There are some well-preserved ruins of temples replete with carvings on the walls. An old well and the crumbling walls of well-planned houses tell the tale of a once prosperous city.
