Self-guided tour of Marrakech: After breakfast, you will have plenty of time to explore the beautiful historic city on your own. Here you can see the famous Djemaa El Fna square, the medina with its maze of souks, the Sadian tombs, the Bahia palace and the Koutoubia minaret. Marvel at all the sights and imagine yourself in the fairy tale of 1000 and 1 night!

After breakfast, you will have plenty of time to explore the beautiful historic city on your own. Here you can see the famous Djemaa El Fna square, the medina with its maze of souks, the Sadian tombs, the Bahia palace and the Koutoubia minaret. Marvel at all the sights and imagine yourself in the fairy tale of 1000 and 1 night!

In Marrakech, you will be picked up from your hotel at 07:30 and travel via the famous Tizi-n-Tichka mountain pass to the Dades Gorge. Along the way you visit the Kasbahs of Aït-Ben-Haddou (approx. 3h30 drive) and Ouarzazate with a local guide (visit of approx. 3h). The Kasbahs of Aït-Ben-Haddou consist of a group of adobe houses surrounded by high walls. The houses are close together inside the defensive walls, reinforced by corner towers. Some houses are modest, others look like small urban castles with high corner towers and the upper parts decorated with brick patterns. After this 3-hour visit, you will continue through the Palm Oasis of Skoura, through the Kalaat M'gouna Valley of Roses to arrive at the Dades Gorges. This evening, dinner is included at the hotel La Gazelle du Dadès in Boumalne. Note: the route passes through a mountainous area so take some water with you

Today you continue your journey to the Sahara. You will be picked up from the hotel at 08:00 and will have 2 stops along the way. You admire the valley of 1000 Kasbahs, the Oasis of Tifillate and various villages such as Tinghir, Rissani and Erfoud. Around 2:00 p.m., stop at Kalaat Mgouna where you can have lunch. You then arrive in Merzouga around 5:00 p.m. where you continue your journey by camel. After about 1 hour you will arrive at the place where you will spend the night where you will have the opportunity to see the beautiful sunset. You will spend the following night in a tent with shared toilets (no shower). Tonight dinner is included in the tented camp where you spend the night. Tip: bring a small backpack. You cannot take your suitcase into the desert with you. Please note: the journey crosses a mountainous area and may therefore take longer than expected. So take enough water with you for the trip.

Today you will admire the early morning sunrise, after which you will return to Merzouga by camel. From there, the return trip to Marrakech begins around 08:30. A long drive of about 8-9 hours, but there are 4 stops along the way and you can once again take in the beautiful surroundings. Around 2pm you have another lunch option at Kalaat Mgouna. You will arrive in Marrakech around 9:00 p.m.
