Vehicle Details:

• Vehicle rental is calculated based on the number of calendar days. Please select your pick-up and return dates when making a reservation.
• Car Class: S-Class (e.g., Vitz, Fit, Note, etc.) The car model cannot be specified.
• Capacity: 5 passengers
• Luggage: Fits up to 3 carry-on suitcases (approx. 40 cm height each)

• In accordance with Japanese law, children under the age of 6 are required to use a child safety seat.
• Please note that the installation of a child seat may reduce the actual number of available passenger seats.
• If you require a child seat or any additional paid items, kindly indicate your request in the “Remarks” section when placing your reservation.
• All additional fees are to be paid on-site, either by cash or card.

Accidents & Emergencies:

• In the event of an accident, you must contact both the car rental supplier and local police immediately.
• Please note: failure to report the incident to the police will result in the denial of insurance coverage.

Fuel Policy:

• Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel.
• Please refuel before returning the vehicle.
• If not refueled, additional fuel charges will apply.

Additional Paid Items:

• Any optional items selected must be confirmed and paid for at the rental location (cash or credit card).

Extension of Rental Period:

• If you wish to extend your rental, please contact the rental location or customer service before the scheduled return time.

ETC Card Usage:

• Fees incurred through the ETC pass will be calculated upon return and can be paid by cash or credit card.

Non-Smoking Policy:

• All rental vehicles are non-smoking.
• Please refrain from smoking inside the vehicle.

Legal Compliance:

• Please observe all Japanese traffic laws and rental terms and conditions during your rental period.

Required Documents for Rental:

All travelers must present:

• A valid passport
• An original driver's license from their home country

For travelers from Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, Slovenia, and Monaco:

• You must also provide an official Japanese translation of your driver's license.
• This license setup allows you to drive in Japan for up to one year from your date of entry.

For travelers from all other countries:

• An International Driving Permit (IDP) is required along with your passport.

Please ensure you bring all required documents to the rental location on the day of pick-up. Incomplete documentation may result in refusal of rental service.If any required document is missing or invalid, the rental will be treated as a same-day cancellation and a 100% cancellation fee will apply.

Disclaimer of Compensation (Insurance Exclusions)

Please note that insurance does not cover compensation in the following cases:

1. No police report: Failure to obtain a police report at the scene of an accident.
2. Unauthorized driving: Driving without a valid license, under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other substances.
3. Unverified drivers: Drivers who did not submit their license details prior to the rental.
4. Vehicle misuse: Damage, contamination, or loss of keys related to the vehicle’s interior or exterior not resulting from an accident.
5. Off-road driving: Driving on riverbeds, forest trails, or other areas with high risk of vehicle damage.
6. User error: Misfuelling the vehicle or damage due to flat tires.
7. Legal violations: Fines, penalties, or other costs arising from breaches of Japanese laws or traffic regulations.
8. Overdue returns: Accidents occurring after the scheduled rental period has end

NOC Peace of Mind Compensation

This optional coverage is included in your fee and waives your obligation to compensate the rental company for business losses when the vehicle becomes unavailable for rental due to damage.

However, NOC Peace of Mind does not apply in the following scenarios:

• The accident is not reported to the rental company.
• The accident is ineligible for insurance coverage or involves breach of rental agreement.
• The rental period was extended without authorization.
• Insurance/compensation is denied due to customer negligence or contractual violations.

In such cases, the renter is responsible for business loss compensation, ranging from ¥20,000 to ¥50,000 per incident, depending on the vehicle type.

Additional Rental Fees

• Roof Rack: ¥1,100 per piece
• Snow Chains: ¥1,650 per piece
• Snow Tires: ¥1,100 per day
• ETC Card: ¥330 per rental

Infant Seat:

• ¥550 for 1 day
• ¥1,100 for 2 days
• ¥1,650 for 3 days or more

Note: All additional rental fees are to be paid on-site, either by cash or card.

• Your booking will be confirmed by the provider within 72 hours.
• You will receive a confirmation email once your reservation is successfully processed.

• Cancellations made 6 days or more before the selected activity date will receive a 100% refund.
• Cancellations made 2 to 5 days before the selected date are eligible for an 80% refund.
• Cancellations made 0 to 1 day before the selected date will receive a 70% refund.
• No refund will be granted for cancellations made after the activity date or in case of a no-show.
