A medieval trading town that was an important place at the intersection of trade routes from East to West along the Danube. That's why it was called the Wachau Gate. Thanks to this, winemaking began to develop in the city in Ancient Roman times. We will visit a local wine producer, the family has owned vineyards since the 18th century. During our walk, we will visit wine cellars and learn the secret of wine production on Austrian soil, and taste 3 samples of wine.Durnstein

A small but significant place due to its location, a rich abbey, which can still be seen today, as well as a medieval fortress.
