Enjoy our 1h30m Horse Trail at the historic Vrede en Lust Wine Estate, nestled in the foothills of the Simonsberg in South Africa’s most celebrated Franschhoek wine valley. A unique way to explore the area at a gentle pace allowing you to take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. This trail is slightly longer and meanders under the oak trees through the vineyards of the working farm and along the river. Any riders arriving late will forfeit time out of their booking. A minimum of 2 riders is required for a ride to go out. Group size limited to 15 riders. For larger parties, please contact us so we can accommodate your needs. No under 8’s on horses. This service is weather dependent. All of our trails are led by experienced guides, ensuring a safe and memorable experience. We are conscious about the environment, we respect nature and adhere to strict operating guidelines to protect the amazing space we operate in. We do not allow any rider over 95kg on a horse and reserve the right to put a rider on a scale should we feel that they are over the weight limit. If you are over the weight limit when making the booking you will not be liable for a refund.
