    the Caniçada dam is a popular spot for water activities. We will make our first stop with the possibility of taking excellent photos and resting with a coffee on the terrace of the marina. We can optionally take a Stand up Paddle / or Kaiak tour for about 2 hours on the secret beaches of Albufeira (optional cost of €25 per person). In this case, the trip to the Arado and Fafião waterfalls is canceled, keeping the total travel time the same.

    After our stop, we will make a short journey across terrain around the Caniçada dam to the magnificent Arado waterfalls.

Known for its natural landscapes and also for being a spot for the sighting of the Iberian wolf, a protected species in the country. Several tourism programs offer the opportunity to observe wolves in their natural habitat, contributing to the preservation of the species and promoting environmental awareness. In addition, Fafião is a popular destination for nature tourism, with hiking trails, waterfalls and stunning panoramic views.
