Highlights
We depart from Potsdam harbour and drive past the Park Babelsberg with its castle, the Flatowturm and the Hofdamenhaus.
The ship then passes the historic Glienicker Bridge before moving onto the
Virgin Sea is entering. The former border line between East and West extends here.
The adjacent landscape with its gardens and castles is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
While the ship is still setting course for the Sacrower Saviour's Church, the fairytale-like castle of Peacock Island is already coming into view behind a shoreline.
Another highlight of the trip is the New Garden with its marble palace and Cecilienhof Palace, where history was made with the signing of the Potsdam Agreement in the summer of 1945.
