The day trip will start at the station of Florence. The driver/guide will be there to pick you up at 10:00am at the beginning of the platform number 16 in Santa Maria Novella central station in Florence. Then he will drive you straight to the 'Bagni di San Filippo' Natural Spring which is approximately two hours from Florence. If you follow the path further into the woods, you reach the massive formation of calcium and waterfall that has earned the nickname of the “White Whale”. Bagni San Filippo in the Orcia valley. To access the wild Fosso Bianco pools, there is an slightly uneven easy five minute walk down into the valley will get you to the wild pools. The best time to do so is from April to October. It is advisable to bring a towel and walking shoes. There is not facility at the hot spring but our driver will show you the local bar/ restaurant which you can use to change yourself and get something delicious to eat and drink. You will have 3 hours to relax at the Hot Spring of San Filippo. Around 3:30 pm we will get ready to go for a wine tasting in Montalcino or Montepulciano The departure is at 5:00pm back to the same station in Florence.
