Lunch on board. Visit The Temple of Karnak the greatest example of worship in history and was dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. It was constructed from the beginning of the Middle Kingdom about 2000B.C to 300 B.C. Then the Temple of Luxor which was built by Amenhotep III in 18th Dynasty , New Kingdom about 1400 B.C and it was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty about 1300 B.C. King Ramses II was the most famous king in the 19th Dynasty. He ruled Egypt for about 67 years. It was dedicated to the great god Amun-Ra, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu representing the Theban triad.Luxor Temple

The Temple of Edfu is an Egyptian temple located on the west bank of the Nile in Edfu, Upper Egypt. The city was known in the Hellenistic period in Greek as Apollonopolis Magna, after the chief god Horus, who was identified as Apollo . It is one of the best preserved shrines in Egypt. The temple was built in the Ptolemaic Kingdom between 237 and 57 BC. The inscriptions on its walls provide important information on language, myth and religion during the Hellenistic period in Egypt. In particular, the Temple's inscribed building texts "provide details [both] of its construction, and also preserve information about the mythical interpretation of this and all other temples as the Island of Creation."There are also "important scenes and inscriptions of the Sacred Drama which related the age-old conflict between Horus and Seth. Then both temples were moved and reconstructed/rebuilt on a new site about 400 m to the south of the old site between 1960-1971 by the help of Egyptian government and UNESCO to avoid the rising water of the Nile. Ramses II built the temple mostly to honor himself(as a God). Inside there is a mural depicting his famous victory at Qadesh battle where his army defeated his enemies(THE HITTITES).
