Join us on a breathtaking sunrise hike up Lion's Head, one of Cape Town's most iconic landmarks. Our experienced and certified guides will lead you on a journey through the natural beauty of the mountain and the surrounding landscape. As the sun rises over the city, you'll be rewarded with stunning views of the coastline and the Mother City below!
The hike is moderate in difficulty and takes about 1-2 hours to complete, depending on your pace. Along the way, you'll encounter a variety of terrain, including rocky paths, grassy slopes, and the famous chain ladders. Our guide will provide instruction and support throughout the hike, ensuring that you have a safe and enjoyable experience.
Itinerary
Lion's Head HikingTrail
The most Insta-famous landmark in Cape Town! We will be hiking up for either a sunrise or sunset hike up Lions Head's circular trail to the summit. The Hike is moderate and will take roughly 3-4 hours in total. The trail is gradual, well-used, and enjoyable and no prior mountain hiking experience is required. The only thing that is required is your camera!
