Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in the lake where you can swim, kayak, and relax in a tranquil atmosphere without large crowds, as we prioritize small group experiences. Cheow Lan Dam (Ratchaprapa Dam)
10 hoursAdmission Ticket Included07:00 Pick up from any hotel in Khao Lak, drive to the Takhun District, Suratthani ( approx 1:50 hours drive). Visit "Nam Rad Watershed Forest" and freshen up in a natural crystal clear pond surrounded by the unique forest. Arrive at Cheow Lan Pier, and board the boat to explore the highlights of the lake. Cruise along the lake and enjoy the multi-spot scenery. Stop for a photo moment at the Three-brother-pillar, a symbolic landmark of the lake. You are allowed to swim just jump right from the boat. Arrive at Frog Island, enjoy a delicious Thai lunch on the island with a 270-degree view of limestone mountains and jungle. Spend your day after lunch just simply relaxing, kayaking on your own, or beating the heat to swim into emerald clear water. Enjoy sightseeing the surroundings. 16:00 back to the pier. This tour is the highlight of our Khao Lak trip! Despite visiting during the off-season when island tours were closed, exploring Khao Sok National Park turned out to be a fantastic alternative. Starting early allowed us to be the first to arrive at the stunning emerald pool, and there were multiple photo opportunities throughout the day. Our guide, Peri, was extremely helpful, ensuring everyone got great pictures. My favourite part was cruising down the lake, with breathtaking views all around. Lunch far exceeded my expectations, offering multiple generous portions of delicious local thai dishes. We also enjoyed swimming after lunch, making the entire experience truly memorable.
