On this tour we will leave very early in the morning to catch the sunrise at Angkor Wat. Depending on the time of year, we will come and get you any time between 4:30am and 5:00am. Banteay Srei is also a popular temple with visitors because of the unique carvings which are still clearly visible today. Banteay Srei features some of the most intricate carvings seen throughout Angkor and the name means the Women Temple. It’s believed that women created the carvings. Banteay Srei was built earlier than Angkor Wat in the 10th century and it was dedicated to Shiva. It has a pink colour to it because of the red sandstone.
Beng Mealea is located a little further away from Angkor than the other temples and it’s a 40km drive away. It used to be on an ancient highway from Angkor arears, and with green sandstone,
