This monument also was built as the spirit of Indonesian people to struggle for the independence. Located at Merdeka Square (independence square ) and its surrounding by government buildings, president palace, Istiqlal mosque, train station, and city hall of Jakarta.

    Istiqlal Mosque was the biggest mosque in south east Asia. This is the grand mosque of Indonesia that was built by the first president of Indonesia (Sokearno) and finish at 1978 during 2nd president of Indonesia (Soeharto). This mosque also representative Indonesia as the biggest Muslim population country in the world. In this mosque you will not go inside mosque for tour. we will just stop for pictures only from the front side.
