Melbourne Museum!
Stroll among Victoria's intriguing permanent collections and brilliant
temporary exhibitions from near and far. Learn about Victoria's natural
environment, cultures and history through different sets of eyes. Take a walk
on the wild side in the Forest Gallery, the living heart of the museum and
home to enormous trees and wondrous wildlife. Head to the Science and Life
Gallery at the west end, where you'll find bugs, dinosaurs, fossils and more!
Don't miss the Bunjilaka Aboriginal Cultural Centre, a place imbued with the
living traditions and knowledge of the Koorie people and other cultures from
around Australia.
Take your children to the Children's Gallery and Touring Hall
(surcharged), where major
exhibitions from around the world are displayed and packed with things for
your little ones to explore!
