Highlights
Enjoy the stunning scenery of Argentinean Patagonia from a whole new perspective, that will allow you contemplate it in all its inmensity. The Calafate Balcony in 4WD tour takes you to a panoramic viewpoint in all terrain vechicles, to observe the entire area of El Calafate, the hills of Chalten and Perito Moreno Glacier from the same place.
In addition, we will have the pleasure of ending the tour with different descents in which we will be able to choose one of the following options: 4x4, trekking or zip line and all the descents will take us to the Estancia Huyliche to have lunch.
Itinerary
El Calafate
30 minsAdmission Ticket FreeFrom El Calafate we'll begin our ascent to the Huyliche mountain range. The journey starts by traversing the slopes of the Calafate Stream Canyon, where we'll have the opportunity to spot native wildlife such as guanacos, foxes, hares, loicas, bandurrias, caranchos, and falcons, among other species. We'll then continue along the winding uphill path surrounded by erratic blocks, remnants of the glaciers' erosive power, until we reach the First Balcony.Balcones de El Calafate
3 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeWe will go to the upper balconies where we will find the view of the Andes Mountains, the Patagonian Continental Ice and all the arms of Lake Argentino. The location of the Balconies overlooking the condor nests makes it an ideal spot to admire the majestic flight of the Andean Condor, the largest bird in Continental Patagonia.El Calafate
30 minsAdmission Ticket FreeWe will embark on the descent where we will be able to choose the 3 different alternatives that this adventure offers: we can go down by 4x4, by trekking and also by zip line. All the options have the particularity that they have as arrival the Estancia Huyliche, where will be having the lunch with these following options: Meat Empanada, Veal Casserole - Vegetarian Option - Celiac Option (Vegetarian or Celiac please inform in advance) Includes dessert and drink (water, juice or a cup of wine)
