Highlights

Mangalore (also known as Mangaluru) is a major port in the Arabian sea. This historic town is known for its amazing beaches, diverse culture, and is the hometown of cashew products. This 7-hour small group tour from cruise terminal takes you to the Cashew Factory, the Kadri Manjunath Temple and the Sri Gokarnanatheshwara Temple. You will also visit Central market, Mangalore's main vegetable market and St. Aloysius Church, famous for its marvelous architecture and interiors.

    8.30 AM - Morning pick up from Sea Port in Mangalore (Mangaluru) and begin your full day tour with a professional guide. Mangalore is the birth place of organized Cashew Processing Industry and India is the largest producers and exporters of cashews in the world. 10.30am - Visit Kadri Manjunath Temple The temple of Manjunath on the hills of Kadri is a very beautiful and popular temple in Mangalore. It is said to be built during the 10th or 11th century. 11.30am - Visit Sri Gokarnanatheshwara Temple (Gokarnath Temple) The Gokarnanath Temple is the most captivating innovative temple of Mangalore that is devoted to Lord Shiva. Built by a Hindu business man to promote the influence of non-Brahmins of Mangalore.  Visit Central Market This is the main place where people buy and sell vegetables, fruits flowers and all the other items which are essential for the household. Visit St. Aloysius Church 3 PM  You will be dropped back off to the Sea Port in Mangalore.
