Highlights
Visit the Blue Grotto on Capri, a famous cave in the Gulf of Naples known for its striking blue light created by sunlight passing through an underwater opening.
Uncover the grotto's rich history, dating back to its days as an elegant Roman nymphaeum. It was rediscovered in 1826 by German artists August Kopisch and Ernst Fries.
Today, local sailors will guide you into the grotto in small white and blue boats. Duck down as you enter and enjoy the unique experience.

It is forbidden:
Lean with head and limbs from the boat
Drop into the water in order to get wet for pleasure, both inside and outside the cave.
Introduce life jackets, armrests and cushions to be used for diving strictly prohibited by current legislation
Engage in behavior harmful to public property
Introduce dogs and/or other animals
It is recommended:
To pay attention to their children
To maintain a supine position when entering/exiting the cave.
To use non-slip shoes or at least lace-up and flat shoes.
In case of strong heat, stop in shaded areas and wear hats to avoid heat strokes
Not to drop anything into the sea both inside and outside the Grotto.
Smoking and the use of open flames are strictly prohibited.
