Highlights
A few kilometres from Rome, you can lose yourself in the immensity of the Ostia Antica Archaeological Park. The site contains the remains of what was once a thriving commercial port for several centuries.
Tickets to the Ostia site allow you to visit an ancient necropolis with tombs from the 2nd century. Admire the remains of a Roman theatre that held up to 4000 spectators, and the splendid mosaics and frescoes that adorn the walls of the Baths of the Seven Wise Men.

Easy access by train from Rome to Ostia Antica station and short walk to entrance. The excavated site is amazing and has the feel of roaming through the city all those centuries ago.
