In addition to rental fee, rental will require 5,000 yen for a deposit.
Please pay in cash when renting at Kyoto Tourist Information Center.
Upon arriving at the KTIC, we will ask for an photo ID for a copy.
Also, we will ask you to write a application form and sign a consent form.
For hotel delivery: Please provide hotel name, address, reservation number, reservation name, and estimated time of check in/out.
For Kyoto Station pick up: Please note that you may use this service between 11:00-18:00. There will be an extra charge outside of these hours.

Ineligible

Persons who cannot put their feet on the foot support (footrest) when riding.
Persons who have been drinking alcohol.
Persons who weigh 115 kg or more.
Persons who are prohibited by a doctor from using an electric wheelchair.

Driving Restrictions

Driving may be prohibited on the premises depending on conditions. Please follow the instructions of the manager of each premises.

Waiver, Compensation
・In the event of an accident, breakdown, theft, etc., please contact the emergency number immediately.
・We will not be liable for any accidents, etc. during use.
・In the event of theft or loss of the mobile wheelchair due to neglect, etc., the actual cost will be charged.
Prohibitions on Use
The following acts are prohibited
①Drinking alcohol, reckless driving, or other acts that violate traffic laws
②Stopping in a place that obstructs pedestrian traffic
③Alteration of the mobile wheelchair or its accessories
④Continuing to operate the mobile wheelchair in the event that the mobile wheelchair is found to be inoperative (e.g., not moving) during operation
⑤ Allowing a third party other than the you to use the mobile wheelchair
⑥Leaving the equipment unattended
⑦Use of the mobile wheelchair in violation of the operator's instructions for use
Refusal or Cancellation of Rental
In any of the following cases, the operator may immediately refuse or cancel the loan.
①When it is recognized that the applicant is unable to comply with the prohibited acts listed in the preceding paragraph.
②When it is recognized that the applicant belongs to an organization related to organized crime groups, related persons, or other antisocial forces.
③When the rental period is during inclement weather such as windstorms or rainstorms, or when such weather is predicted.
④When the operator deems it inappropriate for other reasons.
About Insurance (Excluding intentional or gross negligence)
① Accident insurance: This is insurance in case the passenger is injured while riding.
(Scope of coverage) Death and residual disability insurance amount: 5 million yen, daily hospitalization deposit: 3,000 yen, daily visiting to hospital deposit: 2,000 yen
② Facility Liability Insurance: This is insurance in case a third person and/or facility is injured/damaged due to collision, etc.
(Scope of coverage) Up to 300 million yen per accident
③ Damage insurance: This insurance covers breakdowns and damage to the device.
