Walk through the old Hauz Khas village in Delhi, the origins of which date back to the 13th century. Today it is a trendy part of Delhi that has contemporary art galleries, designer boutiques and old-fashioned shops that sell Bollywood memorabilia. The whole area is a ‘pedestrians only’ zone letting you enjoy your walk as you visit the quaint old shops and boutiques or stop by at a hip bar or restaurant (own expense).

Hauz Khas Village
4 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeYou will be picked up from your hotel in the morning and driven to Hauz Khas village where you will meet your guide for the day. Today its well-preserved ruins stand in the middle of a public park that overlooks a lake. It is a popular spot with the locals. A mosque, tombs and pavilions are present on the grounds of the Fort complex. Enjoy the views of the lake before you continue your walk to the village. Walk through the narrow lanes lined with shops, boutiques and art galleries. Take some time to visit each of these and get an idea of the contemporary lifestyle of Delhi. Stop for drinks and refreshments at a popular bar (own expense). Browse through the antiques on display at the Bollywood shop. Your guide will share with you stories associated with the present day inhabitants of the village. In short, spend a relaxed morning exploring this quaint little urban village. Enjoy lunch (own expense) at a local restaurant. At the end of the tour you will be dropped back at your hotel.
