Highlights
Explore Christchurch’s exciting new-look city centre on board our
beautifully restored heritage Trams, one of the city's best-loved attractions.
Board our trams and hop on and off throughout the day with your ticket at any
of our 18 Tram stops.
CHILD AGES & VOUCHERS
Children aged 5-15 years, infants aged under 5 years. Family tickets are valid
for two adults and up to three children.
Please note that discount vouchers (including Entertainment Book and travel
discount vouchers) must be presented at the Tram when purchasing tickets to
receive the discount: these are not valid for online bookings.
DURATION
Approximately 50 minutes for a full circuit. Tickets are valid for hop-on hop-
off travel for one calendar day
DEPARTS
8:30am - 6pm daily in summer
9am - 5pm daily in winter
_ Please note that trams will be starting at 9am on Saturday 11 April, and
operating along Stops 1-9 only until 1:30pm on Sunday 12 April due to road
closures for the Christchurch Marathon._

Tram tickets:
Please exchange this Tram ticket purchase confirmation for your physical Tram
tickets at our Booking Office in Cathedral Junction or on board our trams from
the drivers.
Tram departures:
Our trams operate between 8:30am and 6pm daily in summer and between 9am and
5pm daily in winter. Trams run every 10-15 minutes in summer and every 15-25
minutes in winter with the last tram departing from Cathedral Junction (tram
stop 1) one hour before closing.
Cruise ship days:
Please note there may be longer wait times for the Christchurch Tram and
Christchurch Gondola on busy cruise ship days over the summer season
(particularly in the mornings when cruise ship coaches arrive). For a list of
