During Knuckles Mountain Trekking tour you will covering an area of approximately 21,000 ha is a part of the Central Highlands World Heritage site, declared in 2010. Though it is a part of Central Highlands it is well separated by Mahaweli river valley from the sides of South and east and Matale valley from the west.

Program plan: Hotel Pick up: at 6:30AM at Hotel in and around Kandy 1.5hrs Jeep transfer to the starting point – Gomara At 8:00AM Start hiking Total Distance 12km (6 km gradual accent, 6 Km gradual decent) Starting elevation: 912m Elevation of the highest peak elevation 1824m @6km Mark Approximate duration 5- 6 hours of hiking Weather: Sunny mornings Cloudy afternoon Difficulty: Hard Attire: Hiking pants, Shirt or T-shirt, rain coat, Hiking shoes or runners
