5 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeEnjoy a comfortable 4-hour drive with nice stops along the way. Chefchaouen, or Chaouen, is a town located in the Rif Mountains in northwest Morocco. It is known for the superb blue buildings of its old town. Leather and weaving workshops line its steep cobbled streets. On the shaded main square of Place Outa el Hammam are the red-walled Kasbah, a 15th-century fortress and keep, and the Chefchouen Ethnographic Museum. The octagonal minaret of the Grand Mosque stands nearby. It's time to leave and it will take 3 hours to reach Fez.
