Historically, the Tigua people were famous for painting highly decorative masks and drums, painting on flat surfaces is somewhat of a modern development. Tigua painting tends to have vibrant colours and simplistic themes. The themes in most paintings are scenes of pastoral life, religious ceremonies, and festivals. 3 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeUpon arriving at Quilotoa, we will have our lunch and then walk to the shores of the lagoon, where you can kayak or just enjoy the landscape. Then you can do the ascent either on foot or rent a horse for just $10. Finally, we board the van to return to the town of Baños.
