Jungle trek day 1
Gunung Leuser National Park
Admission Ticket FreeThis adventurous overnight trek in Gunung Leuser National Park is the most popular option to discover and really experience the tropical rainforest of North Sumatra. During this two-day trek you go deeper into the jungle, with great chances of seeing orangutans and many other wild animals up-close in their natural habitat. On the first day we will leave around 9am and walk through the jungle for 6-7 hours, with many breaks to have food/drinks and fruit. There will be many opportunities to take wonderful pictures of the wildlife and nature we will see. We will arrive around 15:00 - 16:00 to our camp to enjoy te beautiful surroundings or to swim. Dinner will be prepared for you by our private chef at the camp around 18:30 -19:00. Gunung Leuser National Park
Admission Ticket FreeAfter waking up to the beautiful jungle sounds (monkeys, birds), we will make you some tea or coffee with biscuits. We will enjoy a powerful breakfast for the second day of jungle trekking where we will explore the waterfalls and rivers. After having a lunch and fruit, we will step onto the traditional jungle "taxi" and let yourself being taken down by rafting down the Bohorok river.
