[Takachiho Gorge & Mount Aso Kusasenri Classic Day Tour]


Enjoy a full-day trip to two of Kyushu’s most spectacular natural attractions:
Takachiho Gorge and Mount Aso Kusasenri. Walk along the Takachiho Gorge trail
and admire highlights such as Manai Falls, the Three Bridges, and the stunning
river valley scenery. Guests may also choose to add a popular rowing boat
experience at Takachiho Gorge to get up close to Manai Falls and the dramatic
canyon views, as well as an optional lunch featuring premium Takachiho beef.


Afterwards, continue to Aso Kusasenri to enjoy the vast grasslands and
volcanic landscapes, offering a relaxing way to experience one of Kyushu’s
most iconic natural sights.


  • Please note: As the Aso crater area is currently closed (reopening date undecided), the itinerary will focus on Kusasenri and surrounding areas, with stop durations adjusted depending on weather and road conditions.


  • For meal-included plans, the restaurant providing lunch will also offer shuttle service back from Takachiho Gorge. Please note that lunch reservations cannot be made on the day of travel.
