- On all scenic flights, minimum numbers apply unless otherwise stated. Individual bookings may be combined if necessary to achieve minimum numbers. The helicopter can carry a maximum of 6 passengers per aircraft within Civil Aviation Authority restrictions. For aircraft weight and balance purposes, please advise at the time of booking your individual weight (in KG's) This is a CAA requirement.
- A courtesy coach is available to pick up and drop off passengers from selected locations in the Queenstown area. For the list of locations please click here
- The provider strongly recommends you make your flight bookings in advance and at the start of your Queenstown itinerary. If you are unable to fly due to adverse weather, they can transfer your booking to another day.
- Please note, glacier and snow landings are subject to weather and availability.
Your booking will be confirmed by the provider within 24 hours.
A full refund will be processed if cancelled at least 2 days before date of selection. No refund will be processed if cancelled less than 2 days before the date of selection.

Fantastic trip! Our pilot was a fantastic guy! The landing on top of the mountain was brilliant. He also took us close to glaciers and pointed out all different interesting landmarks, take the ride! You will not be disappointed.

Helicopter flight with Glacier Southern Lakes Helicopters was fabulous!! Totally professional and a brilliant experience which I would totally recommend. However, book direct with them. Pelago promised, and I paid for, a lunch cruise which was not honoured. I got the cruise, but no lunch, just urn coffee and had tio pay for basic snacks like crisps. While I have contacted them and asked for a refund of the lunch cost they will not respond. So book direct with https://www.glaciersouthernlakes.co.nz/ and enjoy that breathtaking experience. Avoid Pelago :-)
