In 2011 it was named a Magical Town thanks to its history and its magic inherited from the native peoples of the region, as well as for its diverse tourist attractions.

One of the 20 most important botanical gardens in Mexico, it was founded on April 25, 1991. The Garden houses 5 botanical collections: the Semi-desert, Cacti of Querétaro, Vegetation of the Valley of Querétaro, The Mammillaria genus in Mexico and Agaves of Querétaro. This place, recognized for the number of endangered species it artificially reproduces, reminds us, as a family, of the need to take care of our environment.
