What can I see at Miyakojima Undersea Park?
This is a facility where you can meet fish swimming naturally on the seabed at a depth of 3 to 5 meters while wearing your everyday clothes. Looking up from the seabed is a world that can only be experienced by diving, and there is a lift for children, the elderly, and wheelchair users, so you can easily see part of the underwater world. More than 140 types of fish can be confirmed, and although the fish you can see vary depending on the season and time, on average, about 60 types can be confirmed. In addition, sea turtles can be confirmed about 30 times a year, so you can enjoy the expressions of the sea on each day and time. The average visibility is 15 to 20 meters in summer and 20 to 25 meters in winter, and if the sea conditions are good, you can see more than 40 meters ahead.

The highlight of the facility is the underwater observation facility, which is a spacious space of 29.6m wide, 5m deep, and approximately 150㎡. Through the 24 windows, each 1.5m high, 50cm wide, and 12cm thick, you can see colorful tropical fish, octopuses, sea snakes, and other various sea creatures, and each time you visit, a new encounter awaits you. A guide will accompany you inside the facility and will provide information on the ocean conditions of the day, as well as the types of fish and their ecology, and an overview of the observation facility.
