Highlights
This 4-day trip takes you to Kidepo Valley, one of Uganda’s most spectacular parks which are located in Uganda’s remote northeastern corner. It is 1,442 square kilometers and harbors scenery unsurpassed in any other park in East Africa.
Tucked into the corner of Uganda’s border with Sudan and Kenya, the park offers breathtaking savannah landscapes. Here, you will be able to see many lions, cheetahs, and the rare ostrich.
This also involves immediate and quickest safari encounters using a scheduled chatter.
Itinerary
Fly in to Kidepo and go for Afternoon game drive
Kidepo Valley National Park
9 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeA guide from Verdoro Safaris will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe and take you to either Entebbe Airport or Kajjansi Airfield. Your two-hour flight will give you an opportunity to see Uganda’s beautiful and changing landscape. You will land at Kidepo Valley Airfield where you will be picked up by our focal person at the park. You will then be transferred to your lodge where you will freshen up, have lunch, relax/swim and wait for your afternoon game drive. Morning game drive to Narus Valley and visit to the Karamojong community

6 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeYou will have a sumptuous breakfast at your lodge and then be driven for a game drive at the Narus Valley. Every game drive is different and you will see mammals and birds that you probably didn’t see in the first game drive. Kidepo is a beautiful park and you will be amazed by the landscape and unspoiled wilderness. Take enough photos before returning back to your lodge for lunch and a swim. In the afternoon, you will be taken to visit the Karamojong people. The Karamojong are nomadic pastoralists who live in unique houses called manyattas that are designed to be temporal. Game drive to Kidepo Valley and Hot Springs – visit to the Ik People

You will pass through the Narus Valley again on your way to the Kidepo Valley to spot more mammals, ostriches, and other bird species. You will see the famous Hot springs in Kidepo and get to know how they relate to the local/indigenous communities.
