Then continue through the dense savannah with mounds to Tambacounda, a bush crossing town and a major railway stop before Mali. There will be lunch in a typical restaurant at Tambacounda. After lunch, head to Niokolo Koba National Park, reaching out at the wassadou hotel which is at the bank of Gambia River.
