I booked a 20-minute helicopter tour through Pelago, with our scheduled time at 1:00 PM. When we arrived at the venue, we informed the staff member about our booking. She told us that she had been trying to contact me because they wanted to move our tour time to 1:30 PM. She said she had sent me several emails and also tried calling me, but I had not received any of them. She then showed me the email and phone number that Pelago had provided to them. The contact information was not mine. This explains why I never received the emails or phone calls. This was very frustrating because I had made the booking through Pelago and expected my correct contact information to be provided to the tour operator. Thankfully, we were already at the venue, but this could have easily resulted in us missing the tour altogether. I’m sharing this so other people can be aware and hopefully Pelago can look into this issue so other customers don’t experience the same problem.
