Tanis Sphinx: a 4000-year-old sphinx.
Greek department: Athena of Velletrie, Venus de Milo and Victory of Samothrace.
Galerie Apollon: the finest piece in the Louvre, which inspired Versailles.
_ Italian painting of the Middle Ages: explanation of one of the most important paintings in art history, Saint Francis receiving the stigmata by Giotto.
_ Grande Galerie: the Louvre's immense building, featuring Guirlandao's L'enfant et l'ancien, Veronese's Les noces de Cana and, of course, Leonardo da Vinci's MONA LISA.
Classicism room: The Coronation of Napoleon and Leonidas at Thermopylae by Jacques Louis David.
Romanticism room: Géricault's Raft of the Medusa and Eugène Delacroix's Liberty Guiding the People.
