Valley of Fire State Park is a land of crimson, Aztec sandstone, ancient rock art and mystery. Venture into Nevada’s first and largest state park with a local Adventure Guide to explore a landscape sculpted by shifting sand dunes 150 million years ago.
You’ll ride in the comfort of a luxury Tour Trekker through the Mohave Desert, learning about its geology, ecology and history while en route. Upon entering the Park, giant rock formations, maze-like canyons and animal-shaped peaks transport you to another world.
See world-famous sandstone sculptures—Elephant Rock, Seven Sisters and the White Domes—and iconic landscapes from Hollywood films. Wander among the 2000-year-old petroglyphs at Atlatl Rock and visit the 1930s stone cabins built for early travelers. The tour guide is amazing and friendly. I learned a lot about Vegas and vally of fire history. Even with heavy jet lag, I enjoyed the trip a lot. I’m solo traveler and felt very comfortable during the whole trip.
