  • Qorikancha

    Qoricancha was the center of the main state and astronomical religious power dedicated to the Sun (Inti) in the heart of the city, Qenqo was a huaca or temple of worship closer to nature and the dead, with a mystical and funerary character focused on the earth

  • Sacsayhuaman

    Sacsayhuamán was an ancient Inca fortress located in Cusco, Peru, and also an important religious and ceremonial center. It is believed that its construction began during the reign of Pachacútec and continued with his successors. The fortress, built of large stone blocks, was a complex with stepped walls, warehouses and possibly temples.

  • Q'enco Archaeological Complex

    It was the Astronomical Observatory Center: The structures of Qenqo are aligned with the solstices and equinoxes, serving for the study of the sun and moon.

  • Puka Pukara Archaeological Complex

    was an important pre-Inca ceremonial and administrative center developed between 100 BC and 300 AD in Puno, serving as the nucleus of the Pucará culture.

  • Tambomachay

    was an important Inca ceremonial center dedicated to water worship and a refuge/resting place for the nobility
