Navigate thrilling Grade 2 and 3 rapids for up to 2-hours, as you surge through the heart of Barron Gorge National Park. Feel the rush as you tackle the rapids, then soak in the stunning scenery while floating past rugged cliffs, dramatic ravines, and lush rainforest.
You have the option to include a pickup from Cairns, Northern Beaches or Port Douglas, or the option to drive yourself to the meeting point. This option must be selected at the time of booking.

Barron Gorge
Get ready for a splash of adventure on this half-day white-water rafting tour along the Barron River, just a short drive from Cairns or an hour from Port Douglas. Set in the stunning Barron Gorge National Park, this experience offers the perfect balance of thrills and scenic beauty. Raft through grade 2–3 rapids, making it the ideal adventure for beginners or anyone looking for a fun, action-packed introduction to rafting. Paddle through lush rainforest scenery and over smooth granite boulders as your professional guide leads the way, keeping things safe, fun and exciting. Whether you're chasing a quick adrenaline fix or just want to try something new, this rafting adventure delivers a memorable taste of Tropical North Queensland’s wild side. This tour is suitable for ages 12 and up, and includes all equipment, instruction and training. Return transfers from Cairns or Port Douglas (If option is selected), or self-drive to a meeting point (If option is selected). Please note: Rafting Levy ($35pp from 01 April 2026) - AUD 30.00 per person payable on the day of travel.
