Picture yourself atop an open double-decker bus, Taipei’s vibrant pulse unfolding below as you roll through its storied streets. The Hop-On Hop-Off Sightseeing Tour is your ticket to this adventure, blending the city’s rich heritage with its modern buzz. Choose between two routes—the Red Line tracing Taipei 101 and Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall, or the Blue Line winding past Huashan 1914 Creative Park and Shilin Night Market’s sizzling stalls. Hop off to chase art or savor street food, then climb back on when the next bus swings by. It’s Taipei at your fingertips, alive with possibility.
Start at Taipei Main Station, where a bus departs every 30–40 minutes. Enjoy free Wi-Fi and audio guides in Chinese, English, Japanese, or Korean. Hear tales of temples and towers as you glide by, from Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall to Ximending’s neon glow. With 23 stops and a 4-, 9-, or 24-hour pass, you set the pace—linger at a market or zip to a museum. Bring comfy shoes, a camera, and a curious heart; the upper deck’s breeze is your companion. Book now and let Taipei’s sights and sounds weave a journey that’s uniquely yours.

It was easy get the tickets in the website. They have a lower price than the other websites. We can ride for the same tkt price the Blue and Red trajectory. This is a great way to know the city for a first time visitor.
Seamless booking thru the app. Wait at bus stop and staff just scan the QR code and you are ready to go. I bought the 4hr pkg. 1 trip on red line, 1 trip on blue line.
We did the blue and red line in one day. It was a great way to see Taipei in a short amount of time. The bus runs on time, it was easy to get off and back on from our chosen sights (Palace Museum, Grand Hotel (had lunch there), Chiang Kai-shek Memorial and 101. On the way back we followed the route on our maps app and got off at the stop nearest our hotel so didn’t need to go all the way back to the station.
We took the red line and it was a good introduction to Taipei. We didn’t hop off and did a full round back to Taipei Station. The commentary in English was ok but wish it could be timely.
Great experience, the 2 routes were very different and we hardly had to wait due to the constant frequency.
fun ride to tour taiwan
