Arrival & Welcome Wine Tasting by a 10th Century Castle

7 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeARRIVAL DAY 1 Your adventure begins with pick up at 5pm in Madrid. Chauffeur driven only 1 hour to our village in rural unspoiled Spain, Castile La Mancha. A welcome drink on our terrace overlooking the planes of Spain, olive groves, river, 10th century castle. Listen to the birds, breath the fresh air, unwind, busy Madrid is in the past. Check-in to our rural accommodation with on-suite private rooms. Short presentation of our 3 day/2 night experience in La Mancha, and of the surrounding area. We stroll in the village to get to know the area. (guided). Wine tasting of 3 wine from our award winning family cooperative winery. (0% non alcohol wines too). Paul will be cooking up our typical La Mancha dinner, go and help in the kitchen or simply pour wine and watch! Make yourselves at home! We then serve dinner in our dinning room or outside on our private terrace with stunning views of the Tagus river. Watch the sunset over the valley listening to birds and nature as night falls.- AccommodationsBeautiful private rooms with private bathrooms in our rural accommodation.Food And DrinksDinner - All products are sourced directly from local producers & families. 8 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeFULL DAY 2 After breakfast, visit the artisan village bakery. Our main adventure starts with a light walk by our historic Visigoth 578AD and Moorish sights 900AD. Short presentation of the historic importance of our village. Arrive to our beautiful home in the grounds of the 10th century castle to enjoy a feast in a spectacular environment. Taste Manchego Cheese, farm to fork meats/vegetables, black garlic, honey, olive oil, vermouth, wines, beers & artisan hand made local bakery products. A short presentations about the products. Come into the kitchen and help, pick up a few cooking tips, or simply pour a glass of wine and watch. See secret tunnels under the 10th century castle which lead from under our property. Time to yourselves. Some suggestions: siesta, relax, swim, bike, walk, paint, play the piano! In the evening we offer a countryside rural tapas cooking class (optional). Meet to taste the tapas! 3 hoursAdmission Ticket IncludedAfter breakfast, weather pending, we visit the lake up in the forest for bathing & relaxing, or possible water-sports such as SUP or Kayak. Or on colder wet days we extend the visit to the historic town. The lake and town are only 15minutes drive away.Madrid
1 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeAfternoon return to Madrid arriving 5pm. Other things to note: Groups are typically 2 to 6 (Max 10). We can organise private groups up to 30 (Which we have done before!).
