  • Galle

    Admission Ticket Free
    Start your journey at 0600 hrs from your hotel in Galle. You will be met by a designated chauffer guide from Lakpura Travels. After the formalities at the hotel you will be escorted to your air conditioned vehicle and proceed to Dambulla and visit Cave Temple.

  • Dambulla Cave Temple

    2 hoursAdmission Ticket Not Included
    Your first stop will be the Dambulla Cave Temple, which you are expected to reach around 11:00 AM. Explore the historic caves of the Golden Temple of Dambulla, dating back to the 1st century BC. Be captivated by the ancient murals that vividly depict the life story of Lord Gautama Buddha. Wander through the five main caves, home to hundreds of statues of Buddha and other deities. Make sure to visit the Cave of the Divine King, the Cave of the Great King, and the Great New Monastery. Just outside the cave complex, take in the impressive sight of the towering golden Buddha statue that adds a majestic touch to this sacred site.

  • Minneriya National Park

    Thereafter proceed to Minneriya National Park and go on a lovely jeep safari at Minneriya National Park. This safari takes you on a ride through the Minneriya National Park. Enjoy the sight of over 150 elephants congregating in one place during the famous Great Elephant Gathering, which happens in the dry season between May to October. In addition to elephants, get a chance to also see many mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians in the scrublands, forests and other areas.

    After completing the evening safari, head to your booked hotel in Sigiriya and enjoy an overnight.

  • Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress

As you ascend the steep staircase, take in the terraced gardens and still-functioning cisterns.     After exploring the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, continue to the Sigiriya Village Tour for an authentic taste of traditional Sri Lankan life.
