Highlights

Hike through a winter wonderland in the heart of the Canadian Rockies on snowshoes! Enjoy an exhilarating 5-hour day trip to an amazing lunch spot surrounded by limestone peaks in the Canadian Rockies, all while learning about the flora, fauna, geography and history of the area. Snowshoes are included.

Itinerary

  • Chester Lake Trail

    Snowshoe gaining 300 +/- meters to Chester or Rummel Lake where you'll enjoy lunch at a frozen alpine lake before heading back the way you came. Meet in Canmore for an orientation and to sign waivers, afterward convoy about 45 minutes to the trail head before hitting the trail for the day. Transportation is not included.
