Highlights
This five days program gives you the opportunity to discover some of the most important tourist objectives and beautiful landscapes in Romania. You will be traveling through the legendary and famous land of Transylvania, then head to Maramures where you will see impressive wooden churches but also traditional houses, Bucovina with its famous painted monasteries and finally Danube Delta, a unique natural reservation (UNESCO heritage).
Itinerary
Day 1 – Bucharest – Sinaia – Brasov – Sighisoara
Peles Castle

This is a beautiful mountain resort located in the Carpathian mountains at 800 meters altitude. Here you will be visiting Sinaia Monastery and Peles Castle built by the first King of Romania, Carol I, to be a summer Royal residence. On our way, we will be driving by Prislop Pass (charming landscape) and the first stop will be in Ciocanesti village, a unique place where all the houses are painted with traditional motifs, in the same place is “The Painted Eggs Museum”. The exterior painting on the western wall depicts, on five registers, the Doomsday scene, unique in the whole world. Day 4 – Gura Humorului – Tulcea

The journey will be long but beautiful going through many towns and villages giving you the opportunity of having an image of the city & countryside life. On our way, we will have a break for lunch. In the evening, we will arrive at our final destination, Tulcea, the Gate of the Danube Delta. Day 5 – Tulcea – Bucharest
Danube Delta
4 hoursAdmission Ticket Not IncludedThe day will begin with a tour by boat on the channels of Danube Delta (UNESCO heritage). The Danube Delta is the largest Delta in Europe and the best preserved, having a total surface of 3446 square kilometers. We will admire delta flora with specific vegetation of swamp and fauna with 133 species of fish and 327 species of birds, some of them migratory and some other local birds. Traditional fish lunch on the boat. At the end of the day, return to Bucharest.- Food And DrinksBreakfast
